This is the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris. We walked all
the way to the top. No wonder that hunchback guy was always in a foul
mood! I think there was 318 steps. Seemed like a lot more. The stairs
were stone, spiral and very worn down. Once on top, you can see all
the gargoyle statues up there. They were supposed to scare away evil
spirits or something. We thought they looked funny. There were a lot
people in square in front of the church. You'd think they'd never
seen cats on vacation before.
